Latest Despatch.exe is received from PTC, Mysore for BO's VP Parcels fetching problem in Despatch module..

Please follow below steps.

1. Download the attached files.
2. Take counter database backup.
3. Run the attached exl file using script tool.
4. Copy the Despatch.exe file to application folder

Note: While doing the above steps if any error comes then use the old Despatch( i.e. whatever you are previously using before this despatch exe) and restore the counter database.

Meghdoot 7 : Point of Sale Submit Account Error & MSDTC Services Error

Problem : After installation SQL Express and M.M.7.0


1. RPC error while submitting POS Submit account 2. Error Message like " MSDTC SERVICES IS NOT RUNNING "


Solution :
1.
exec sp_serveroption @server='myserver', @optname='rpc', @optvalue='true'
exec sp_serveroption @server='myserver', @optname='rpc out', @optvalue='true'

Note: Replace 'myserver' with your servername in the above query.


2. Go to Services (Control Panel-- Administrative Tools--Services ) and then start the service 'Distributed Transaction Coordinator' (MSDTC) with start up type as 'Automatic' and Log On As 'Network Service' as shown in the attachment. Then execute the below mentioned Query relating to 'RPC' error to solve the problem.

On Non appearance of Post offices follow the below steps provided by CEPT PTC Mysore

Please check the following points

* Local Meghdoot Applications Pincode and Non Delivery Code is matching with R Net Central server master data.
* Once Articles are fetched in Despatch application for Bag Closing booked articles will reflect in R Net MIS.
* Check R Net Communication is running.
* Your Office may not be Using Barcodes for Booking.
* If Point of Sale installed for Speed Post then your office booking data will not reflect on R Net MIS so follow the steps given below

1 Login to Point of Sale Supervisor
2 Select menu My Office -> Environment
3 Change Office Type as Post Office

Meghdoot 7 : Point of Sale login error after upgradation

In some offices we are getting an error while login in to Point of Sale after upgradation of Meghdoot7.The error message is as shown

[Microsoft ][ODBC SQL SERVER DRIVER][SQL SERVER] Incorrect Syntax near '='
Solution:Please tick on Barcode on Inland Registered articles
in the following option of Point of Sale Supervisor before upgradation.

My Office-->Environment.
If you are forgot to tick this before upgradation install old version of Point of Sale and tick the said entry and switch to new version.

1)After updating megh7 there is no provision to close the service insured letter.

2)After upgradation of MM 7.0, we cannot fetch the articles returned by BOs in Despatch module(Fetch from Postman option)..

This is the solution received from PTC, Mysore for "Returned BO articles fetching problem in Depatch module"

Please follow below steps.
1. Download the attached files.
2. Take counter database backup.
3. Rename the existing Despatch.exe
4. Run the attached exl file using script tool.
5. Copy the Despatch_exe file to application folder and rename it to Despatch.Exe.


Note: While doing the above steps if any error comes then use the old Despatch( i.e. whatever you are previously using before this despatch exe) and restore the counter database.

Bag details value is not coming to view/delete option and also Abstract side. More over , i could not modify or delete RL/MO/eMO/Parcel in BO invoicing option.While deleting the Bo article it shows some error.
